Help create an art and music center in Safety Harbor

Calling all Garden Fairies and Wizards! Get your paint brushes ready! Sunday, June 26th we will be participating in a fun fundraiser to help create an art and music center in Safety Harbor.

Fundraising to create a haven for artists

Garden Fairy Kiaralinda and Garden Wizard Todd Ramquist, known worldwide for their bowling ball adorned home, are in the first stages of creating nonprofit center in Safety Harbor, Florida. SHAMc (Safety Harbor Art and Music Center) is being created out of the core of an old house,  a 1,200-square-foot home built in the 1920s. The house, owned by Todd and Kiaralinda, will be reborn into a 3,000-plus-square-foot center with stages for intimate concerts and a gallery to display the works of artists.

What we will be doin’

We will be decorating posts that will be used to build a construction wall around the property. The funds raised will directly benefit the construction that goes on behind the beautiful wall!

I’d love to paint but we’re still here in tundra town….. Today is gorgeous, but it’s been cold and rainy and a tad dreary. Of course that hasn’t slowed us down at all and we’re having a blast! But painting bright colored images on fence planks would sure make me happy! Howdy to everyone…

Despite the rain on Sunday we had a good turnout and sold and painted planks with Garden Faries and new friends. It was alot of fun and looking forward to next fundraising event!

  4. Who knew how much fun it would be to mix paint, rain, and a bunch of determined supporters of the future SHAMc! Great turnout despite the gloomy weather…the sun was shinning under all the tents where busy “artists for a day” joyfully slapped paint on picket slats! Can’t wait to see the final fence~

ooooohhhhh my gosh what a great turnout for our first Official community based art project

the “Picket the SHAMc” turnout was amazing since it poured buckets …..but the 50 or so volunteers

who stuck it outand showed up created amazing pickets……wearing plastic raingear and using

blowdryers to accomplish the mission! So proud to see how many supporters want to Picket the

SHAMc, it was truly a successful fundraiser…..THANKS EVERYBODY!

    LUV YOU ALL!
