New opportunities & inspirations! Along with doing lots of new exciting professional projects, I have also been involved with many benefical community projects. I love animals and was touched when the Clearwater Aquarium invited me decorate a dolphin for a live auction to aid dolphin relief.
Living on the Gulf Coast, relief needs have come very close to home. I have found being involved in many recent Garden Fairies benefits to be personally beneficial –Lessens that feeling of helplessness one experiences sitting in front of the TV, watching the parade of seemly endless disasters. (And worrying EEKS, are we going to be next!) I must say, getting off the couch to help others is incredibly therapeutic, especially when it is with a great flock of Garden Fairy friends. The Garden Fairies have
also opened up new professional opportunities for me. It is amazing
to see the results of our new professional networking group, the newly
formed Garden Fairies Pro Division. I am a founding member, one of
eight Garden Fairies who form our professional artist core group.
We are constantly in touch with each other relying new opportunities,
inspirations and referrals. Some projects require additional hands,
so we tap each other for labor when needed.
