With all the things I do for other people, I especially enjoy painting on canvas for my own personal satisfaction. I find it much harder to paint for myself, because it's something that comes from deep within, and I try and let it flow while balancing color, composition, and subject matter. I am highly influenced by the Masters, especially Matisse, but alas, I don't think I will ever compare to any of them. I try to paint loose, but my natural style is somewhat tight and realistic, so I try not to fight it.

I love painting women, probably because of all the great Life Drawing classes I took in college, and I love incorporating vivid colors and patterns in the scene. I also enjoy doing custom paintings for clients, and has done several through the years.
